Dani and I are all about the ease of doing things! When we saw the idea of an easy scavenger hunt for kids, we immediately were into it! However, we still had to come up with the items we were going to “scavenge” for. After a bit of thought and troubleshooting, we came up with a perfect sampling of ideas.
Obviously, the most important aspect of our easy scavenger hunt for kids was to spend time with our kids, especially some inside time. I don’t know about you, but in Georgia, it is HOT. We also wanted something that could take up some time and we could draw it out over a half hour to an hour. Which, we found you TOTALLY can do that.
The other aspect we wanted to consider with our scavenger hunt cards is how we could embed some learning in! So, this scavenger hunt also works on problem solving skills, word identification, colors recognition, and lots of movement! I loved seeing how creative Evie was when we were playing! It was also so cute to see her mind reeling on where she could go look!
